San Joaquin Valley Incentive Project. Total funding is $15,300,000 with maximum funds reserved of $360K per county. The San Joaquin Valley Incentive Project promotes easy access to zero-emission vehicle infrastructure for the purchase and installation of eligible Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers in Fresno, Kern, and San Joaquin counties.

BESTFIT Innovative Charging Solutions. Total funding is $7,500,000 with maximum awards of $2M, depending on technology. The purpose of this solicitation is to demonstrate novel technologies and/or business models that highlight these types of innovative charging solutions and form factors that are the “best fit” for the local built environment, use case, and vehicle type.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Demonstrations in Rail and Marine Applications at Ports (H2RAM). Total funding is $12,600,000 with maximum awards of $4M. The purpose of this solicitation is to fund the design, integration, and demonstration of hydrogen fuel cell systems and hydrogen fueling infrastructure for locomotive and commercial harbor craft applications at California ports to reduce air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions.

Reuse Grant Program (FY 2019-20). Total funding is $2,000,000 with maximum awards of $500K. The purpose of the grant is to further the goals of the California Global Warming Solutions Act (AB 32) and lower overall greenhouse gas emissions by expanding and improving landfill diversion and recycling in California through source reduction.

Clean Mobility Options (CMO) Voucher Pilot Program. Total funding is $20,000,000 with maximum awards of $50K-$1M, depending on voucher type. The CMO is a streamlined voucher application system intended to improve clean transportation access and to increase zero-emission and near zero-emission mobility choices for disadvantaged and low-income communities.

Blueprints for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure. Total funding is $3,000,000. This is a competitive grant solicitation to support new and existing efforts for awardees planning “blueprints” that will identify actions and milestones needed for implementation of medium- and heavy-duty (MD/HD) zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) fleets and the related electric charging and/or hydrogen refueling infrastructure.

Zero-Emission Transit Fleet Infrastructure Deployment. Total funding is $20,000,000 with maximum awards of $6M, depending on technology. This is a competitive grant solicitation for projects that will support the deployment of fueling infrastructure for medium-and heavy-duty (MD/HD) zero-emission transit bus fleets.

Manufacturing and Research & Development Equipment Exemption. Partial sales and use tax exemptions are accepted on a continual basis with a maximum of $200M in purchases per year. A partial sales and use tax exemption allows certain manufacturers, researchers and developers to pay a lower sales or use tax rate on qualifying equipment purchases and leases.

WaterSMART: Title XVI Congressionally Authorized Water Reclamation and Reuse Projects. Total funding is still being allocated with maximum awards of $20M. The objective is to invite sponsors of congressionally authorized water reclamation and reuse projects to request cost-shared funding for the planning, design, and/or construction of those projects.

Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE). Total funding is $44,000,000 with maximum vouchers of $500K, depending on technology. The goal of CORE is to accelerate and facilitate the adoption of zero-emission off-road equipment by providing point-of-sale discount vouchers that reduce the purchase cost of equipment operated in the State of California.
