Jonathan is an experienced consultant and advisor to companies, public agencies, and other organizations in the areas of clean energy and transportation. He has provided advisory, analysis, project and program management, and product and business ideation across a wide range of technologies, fuels, concepts, and clients. From developing zero- and near-zero emission vehicle fleet transition and infrastructure deployment plans to providing go-to-market strategies for electric aviation and software-as-a-service offerings, Jonathan’s track record of delivering creative-yet-grounded solutions is deep and diverse. With an emphasis on transportation decarbonization, Jonathan supports clients with ideation, development, and execution of strategies to achieve outcomes that commercialize advanced technology and systems, reduce emissions, and enhance economic prosperity. He is inspired by the aim of decoupling economic growth and greenhouse gas emissions, and in his work, he seeks to combine creativity and pragmatism to make progress toward that end.

BACKGROUND

Jonathan has been engaged in clean energy and transportation work since 2016. Prior to joining Momentum, he led go-to-market planning and strategy for the EV fleet management startup, Flipturn; he supported clients with transportation decarbonization planning and development as a lead consultant at ICF; he led zero- and near-zero emission vehicle and infrastructure demonstrations, pilots, planning, and study efforts at CALSTART; and, in a research position at Ohio University, he examined ways to support economic and community development in coal-based economies of Central Appalachia given the impacts of shifting U.S. energy markets. Jonathan also has a background in manufacturing systems and provided technical consulting services to consumer packaged goods manufacturers early in his career.
