Philip is an environmental professional focused on making the built environment more sustainable, reconnecting people with ecology, and creating a more environmentally just future. He is driven by his passion to protect and prioritize the health and well being of people and the planet. He is skilled in translating highly technical project information into compelling stories that inform, inspire, and positively influence. In his role as a Strategist at Momentum, Philip guides the technical decision making process towards outcomes that benefit the owners of the project as well as the surrounding communities and ecosystems.

Background

Prior to his work at Momentum, Philip worked in a variety of roles under the umbrella of sustainability and clean tech including field engineer for utility scale solar and carbon capture projects, energy efficiency and smart home consultant, and marketing and creative direction for a solar storage startup. Most recently he was one of the co-founders of Intersectional Environmentalist 501(c)(3), an environmental justice organization. He has studied and worked in the clean tech and sustainability space for over a decade.
